Issuance of entry/exit visas to the Republic of Kazakhstan

      • The following types of visas are available for E-Visa:

        Single entry visas entitle the visa recipient to a single entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan, travel through its territory, stay in it and leave the Republic of Kazakhstan for a time , for the purposes and under the conditions established by the visa.

        Visas are issued after payment of consular fees and state duties in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

        Paid amounts of consular fees are non-refundable.

        E-visa can be issued only if there is a valid invitation from the Kazakh side. To apply for an e-visa, you need an invitation number received from the inviting Kazakh side. The issued electronic visa must be printed out for presentation at the state border crossing and on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Electronic visa gives the right to enter / exit the Republic of Kazakhstan only through the international airports of Nur-Sultan and Almaty.

        E-visas are not issued to foreigners with whom children travel together.

        • foreigners traveling to the Republic of Kazakhstan at the invitation of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Office of the President, Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
        • foreigners traveling to the Republic of Kazakhstan with humanitarian assistance agreed with the interested state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
        • employees of international organizations traveling to the Republic of Kazakhstan on official business;
        • foreigners traveling to the Republic of Kazakhstan at the invitation of foreign diplomatic missions and consular offices, as well as international organizations accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the basis of the principle of reciprocity;
        • foreigners - holders of diplomatic and service passports, traveling to the Republic of Kazakhstan on official business;
        • children under 16 on the basis of reciprocity;
        • persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
        • former citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan permanently residing abroad and traveling to the Republic of Kazakhstan for the funeral of close relatives;
        • for the issuance of investor, service, diplomatic visas;
        • for issuing the repeating visa instead of the primary visa containing mistakes made by the official staff of the service provider.

      • Service provision result:
      • issuance of visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan or a reasoned response to the refusal to provide public service.
      • The reasons for the rejection may be:
        • establishment of unreliability of the documents submitted by the service recipient for receiving the state service, and (or) the data (data) containing in them;
        • if there are grounds for bringing him to criminal responsibility - before the end of the proceedings;
        • if he is convicted of a crime - before serving his sentence or exemption from punishment;
        • if he evades the obligations imposed on him by the court - before the performance of obligations;
        • negative response of the authorized state body to the request for approval, which is required for the provision of public services, as well as a negative conclusion of the audit.
      • Work schedule:
      • Service provider - from Monday to Friday inclusive, from 9am to 6.30pm with a lunch break from 1pm to 2.30pm, except weekends and holidays, according to the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
      • Reception of documents and delivery of results of rendering the state service is carried out from 9am till 5.30 pm, with a break for lunch from 1pm till 2.30 p.
      • For service providers outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, documents are accepted from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and the issuance of the results of public services from 4pm to 5pm. Wednesday is not working day.

      • The passport provided by the visa recipient must meet the following criteria:
        • must not cause doubts about the authenticity and belonging to its owner, contain marks, reservations, records, erasures and corrections, torn or embroidered pages;
        • must have at least 2 blank pages intended for visas, except for recipients of visas for departure from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
        • its validity shall expire not earlier than 3 months from the expiry date of the requested visa, except for the recipients of visas for departure from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
        • must not have marks on the extension of the validity period.
